I'm like really afraid of octopuses. Never seen one in real life or had anything traumatic happened than includes an octopus. So I don't really know where it comes from, but everytime I see one in tv or just a picture of one makes me jump. Simply just feel really hard looking at one. I start to shake and my eyes start to tear up. Am I alone with this fear or is there someone else?

You are alone

What's funny is that octopuses and squid are supposedly freakishly smart.
Imagine them waiting for you, hiding in plain sight... studying their delicious fleshy dinner.

Octopuses are very intelligent. If you swim with them, they seek shelter and then poke their eyes out and watch you. They're very nice and shy. You'd be better off being afraid of sea urchins, which are spiny bitches.

Really? What's this do for you?

either you have read too much about their deadly beaks, but those big guys will never live in waters shallow enough for swimming
or there's something about tentacle porn and the fear for one's manly butthole. In which case get drunk, buy some and make a bbq. Repeat until all is fine.
