One of my GALS ate a sliver of mushroom that was covered in springtails, I think it might've swallowed some before the rest jumped off and I could take the piece off it.
Will it be okay?

Springtails are apparently harmless, should be fine even if they ate them.

Also, does someone know if any of the "glowing Lucihormetica" in captivity stories are true?
Anyone have any good recommendations for invertibres in chicago?

Springtails aren't only harmless they're beneficial. They're edible, low impact, and they eat rotting food. 10/10 thing to have infest your tank.

Get arrested or get bugs. One of the two.
Can predators be kept with other insects or predators? Lets say i have 2 mantis in a large terrarium with a couple Roaches, should i be worried of them killing eachother?

>I dont understand why people are terrified of them
maybe many people think of them as extremely fast reproducing pest insects
but most species are clearly not that

I'm pretty sure when people say they hate cockroaches they mean the urban species. Which is justifiable.
Most people don't even know there are other species anyway.

I personally wouldn't do it
