I am not sure if there's a right or wrong. Humans will always be part of nature.
Though can't say the predatory nature of our contemporary societies (is it innate to humans?) is such a good thing, especially for the long-term.

Life will most likely prevail if we fuck up our environment, but there's a much smaller limit to the survival of humans in a heavily degraded environment.

man's purpose is to use and give back, just like every and all creatures on this planet. Just because we are apex doesn't mean our purpose is any less different than it is for every other animal, just ask your mom.
