what if I make a sweater out of it?
would you wear a sweater of your doggo's hair while walking your doggo?
what would your doggo say about this?
That would be itchy as fuuuuuuuuck.
However there is a video of some adventurous diyers doing just that.

maybe, would depend on how it smells. if it smells too much like wet doggo then no. but if it can be washed til it smells ok, then I'd consider it.
>what would your doggo say about this?
he'd probably say "woof woof"
Dog wool belts are marketed towards sick old men in certain countries, should be really warm. See if etsy has any meaningful results.
Thought about it, but seems like too much work and I dont know how to knit.
You can send your dog's hair to people who will spin it for you. So you don't have to buy all those tools to make it yourself.

looks like your doggo is floating on a cloud

No more than cotton, I should think, but I suppose for some that isn't saying much.

I've heard of people doing that with samoyed fur.

I don't know what it's called exactly but I've seen people do it with dog, cat, rabbit, goat, alpaca and sheep fur. Long haired, cashmere, angora variety. I think it's called needle felting.
My gf is a dog groomer and sometimes she comes home with bags of cleaned dog fur to sell to people.

Depends on the fur. I bet silky terrier or angora rabbit would feel like heaven.
