I just got a plant of these obscenely spicy chilies, but I can't find a detailed guide about taking care of it. So far I removed all chilies and wrapped all branches with transparent opaque plastic bags, to create a greenhouse effect since it's almost winter, did I do good?
If you can give me some advice or recommend me any guides, even videos, it would help a lot. I've never taken care of a plant before.

where are you at OP?
if you're in north america its time to put them into dormancy. look into over wintering pepper plants

>transparent opaque
bro are they transparent or opaque?
is it possible you mean translucent?

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. I'm in central Europe by the way, so far yesterday I watered it up (a cup of water) in the morning around 8 and exposed the plant outside for 5-6 hours since it was very sunny (with a bit of cold wind) then it clouded up so I kept it inside a warm room the rest of the day/night till now (6 AM).

ok, how big is the plant?

The part that sticks out of the dirt is around 1m tall (45cm where the first V starts), the pot is 15cm deep. There're 8 branches total, it's almost perfectly symmetric. There're some darker spots in the Vs of the branches since I first saw it at the store, I wonder if it's normal? just in case yesterday I added crushed eggshells (very small pieces, almost powder) to the soil, as I read in a random guide I found about fertilizers, and added another cup of water too. Some weeds were already growing in the soil (a clover ironically kek) so I got rid of it as well, though I guess it's a good sign after all?
