Did bugguy/plont single handedly ruined an entire board with persistent, thread-derailing posts about denying animal consciousness and relentless cat hate?

This board has been dead for a long time. Ironically it became more active after it died.
4chan as a whole became very popular with the latest election, and before that with gamer gate. As a result we get a lot of newfags from many different places. I've been seeing more name and tripfags here the past year than I've ever seen before. This place used to be the nicest board, but I guess that wears down after a while. This place used to also not be pants on head retarded, but I guess now everyone has to give their red hot opinions even if they know dick all about the subject.

/an/ is different from before, that's for sure. The whole site is worse but i don't think /an/ is that much worse.
Like the other anon said, 4chan is getting a lot more traffic than before so you'll have to wait for the dust to settle and deal with what's left.

I mean, it's not all bad. I like Mudskipz a lot, he's a fellow Floridafag and always posts quality. But yeah, I agree, it has lowered a bit in quality.
Well he fucked off a while ago so that's a massive bonus. Those weak clickbaity threads are gone, all the angry "muh toxoplasmosis" contrarian newfags left too. I'd say it's something of a return to normality, though perhaps a little more boring and humdrum than what we grew accustomed to.

Pretty sure he's just sentencing a ban. /an/ isn't worth a VN or resetting router when /out/ is a thing.
Something I realized lately is people asking for information here get pissed off when they are given a lot of helpful information, which is getting very rare to actually see around now. Not like the 'kill it, you're a horrible owner' or 'take it to the vet', but actually viable, correct information. If you need your information spoon-fed via 5 word long greentexts, why even bother typing up a post? I think we should kill newfags with boring information and ripping and tearing threads

I use a tripfag to piss people off senpai
This isn't my first one, I just use one for the day

This. I've never seen that before, I am a relative newfag and bearded dragon owner, I frequent /k/ also, but if you can get pissed off at useful information... That is just insane and you doing kys
