I have been where you are, my last dog 100% saved my life, my dog was the reason I kept living. Just remember that a dog feels the same way, you're literally the center of its world. As long as you loved it, it couldn't have had a better life!!

Dogs are great, very affectionate animals, and unlike people they are also sort of a blank state where people can project their emotions into.

If your best friend is a dog that means your friendship = someone that likes you.
