Can a woodpecker peck through a human cranium?
Yeah
It would be extremely painful.

for you

That's basically what they do to baby birds. They peck holes in their brains and kill them

Considering woodpeckers peck holes in wood, they could more than likely peck through your skull. it would just take a lot more time, but is still possible.

It wouldn't take longer, it would actually take shorter. A human skull is hollow, it's not a solid bone. Where else would the brain be, if it was?
Where as trees are solid wood. And woodpeckers still fuck them up, just like in the pic you posted.

Like human babbies, bird babbies do not have fully ossified skulls when they are born. It takes a few months to fully form, so the skull is thinner, especially when they are that young. It will take several months to fully calcify, at which point several species have not only left the nest, but likely are undergoing their first fall migration.
To add to that that bird bones are hollow to boot and it also makes for weaker bones compared to a human.
Human bones are solid, and far stronger than bird bones,
