I don't know shit about mushrooms. What is it and can I eat it?

Impossible to say by pic alone. Not a distinctively edible one that I can tell (USA).

Odds are it won't kill you but will taste bad or make you sick. But no guarantees either way.

Not OP, but there are some damn tasty mushrooms that you can't get in supermarkets and stuff. So if you run across one that's not old then it's worth to grab it or cut it off tree.

None of them look like generic white or brown mushrooms though. Some of those are edible sure...but not really worth it.
