Hey everyone, our family turtle is dying an I'm trying to get it to eat, but it won't. If it doesn't eat it will probably die soon. Need your advice on it.
take a picture of it's enclosure.

If it's not diseased, then make soup. You've hit a rare opportunity on your hands anon, don't waste it.

lol, took me a while to realise you weren't talking about making soup for the turtle

I've heard turtle soup is one of the most delicious things ever.

it tastes like rich-flavoured gravy.

I wanna try it.
How old is it and what's its behavior otherwise?
Sometimes turtles can be picky, and eventually not like eating the same thing every time

this
also take it to a herp vet, if you're worried about the legality I don't believe turtles are illegal to OWN in the US, but to BUY so you're fine
What sort of light are you giving it? What is it's lighting schedule? Does it have UVB rays? Is the OP pic your turtle? If not, post pics of its shell, face and plastron (bottom)
What were its eating behaviors normally, do you feed it live food or pellets? How old is the turtle? How long has it NOT eaten for? Are you sure that it's also drinking? What are the temps in its enclosure and your house?
