Africanized bees get a bad rap.
They kill a couple people a year, but are superior to European bees in basically every way; they produce more honey, they're more resistant to predation and fungus, the colonies never collapse, etc.

They're not superior, though, for beekeeping. They retained the swarming behavior of the African bees and will pick up and move every so often instead of just chilling in your boxes
