Sup /an/ I need your help,
I was recently feeding a stray cat near my apartment and I think I got fleas from it. First strange bites started appearing near my ankles and since I sleep with my feet uncovered and there is a lot of mosquitoes here I thought it was them, but I found a god damn flea yesterday.
I've had four showers since then but I can't help feeling like these fuckers are crawling all over my skin and hair, there probably isn't many and I'm just tripping the fuck out but I still need help with this.
Have you ever gotten fleas from your pets or any animal? Is it dangerous? How do I RID MYSELF and my apartment if it contains any?
Help.
It's your fault for feeding such a horrible and pathetic creature.
burn everything
Vacuum , spray fleepoison (read the instructions on where to spray it, mostly in the plinths and tight spaces), repeat
Act fast before it gets too bad. I once had a MASSIVE infestation in my house for months when I was a student, it was so fucking awful.
Don't worry about them crawling on you by the way, you can very easily spot them with the naked eye. They can jump pretty high, but not higher than your knees, so you don't need to worry about them getting up anywhere, they'll only be on your legs, and they don't tend to stay on for very long. It's your house you need to worry about.

I don't like doing it since it's industrial chemicals but it's the quicker solution. Get some anti-flea (not repellent!) on the cat, and have him walk around the house. He's a host for fleas, so they'll jump on it and get rekt.
