Cats like me but dogs don't, why?

What's an example of a dog not liking you? Do they attack you? All sizes of dogs? What kind of person is not liked by most dogs? Do you live in a shitty place with shitty people who raise shitty dogs? Because in my experience dogs like pretty much everyone who isn't a harassing toddler or an intruder.

Somewhat unrelated but does anyone else feel weird around cats? I grew up with dogs and currently have dogs in my life so I'm familiar with their body language and behavioral cues.

I don't know anything about cats so I'm always unsure how to interact with them

Being social pack animals, dogs become loyal to their owners and are instinctively distrustful of others until that trust is deservedly gained.

Cats' trust is gained quicker because they're not pack animals. If they see a person doesn't intend harm to them, they'll trust that person.
