if they're so smart, why do they go back to the cove every year?
instinct.
their intelligence is overrated.
>>2217934
None make it out alive.
>>2217948
that makes no sense though, if huge groups of people went to some place and no one made it out alive
>word would get around
They're smart for animals, not human smart.
>I hate seeing this, damn homo sapiens.
>>2217965
I'd think they're at the level similar to humans before tribalism. They group but don't keep information about other groups, except when meeting one.
>>2217979
still, they can't smell the carnage?
the whole first half of the movie is about how clever they are and their amazing language skills then they go and ruin it by being too fucking stupid to not get holocausted
>>2217934
Theyre herded in by an army of boats.
Retard.
>>2218279
>retard

>if they're so smart, why do they go back to the cove every year?
More than likely, it's people projecting too much onto animals, they probably aren't as smart as people would have you believe.
>>2218283
I guess you weren't there, I was.
Fucknut.
>>2218435
Were you on the boat?
>>2218436
No.
On shore with a pike.
But I watched the boats drive them in.
BTW, tastes like venisonXsalmon

It's not like they swim directly into the cove willingly, the fishermen head pretty far out to drive them in. There's always going to be some dolphins near there because it's unreasonable to assume that several different species of dolphin will stop coming to a specific area, and it's even more unreasonable to assume that the fishermen won't just find another cove if they do leave. They chose this cove for a reason, it's likely there's a major feeding ground not far from it. Considering it's the fucking ocean and the area is probably not extensively studied by people who care about the dolphins or ecosystem, who knows where the next feeding ground could be?
