Do you know if there is a sustitute of hay?
It is impossible to get in in my country and I want to get a good feed my guinea pigs
Also do you know about any diet that is good for them?
I use marijuana
Where do you live that it's impossible to get hay? I'm just curious because hay is so common in my country.

wtf do they feed farm livestock there? and feed guinea pigs grass. The reason they need hay/grass is because that is the plant that wears their teeth down. Cant you buy hay online?

Guinea pigs need hay. You can get it fairly cheaply online.

do they neccesary need hay?
i can buy it, buy I wanna know if i can sustitute that
I promise you there's hay in every country. Any kind of dried grass is just fine so long as it's not moldy.
I`ve been looking for it in Mexico, but I can find it here only on November or December
The rest of the year I`ll need to buy it online

Why not just gather some and dry it inside?

I`ll try
Thanks
Timothy hay is best but it's a bit pricey. Never give alfalfa hay unless you have a pregnang or very young ( too much calcium long term)
Always supplement with lots of leafy greens, fruits and veggies plus their normal pellet diet ad libitum.
