Should i be afraid, /an/? I'm getting my bathroom renovated and since the light fixtures have been taken down out of the ceiling these guys have been out in force lately.
They tend to either hang in place from one string of web or to just bunch up in a corner--seemingly doing nothing.

Sorry for the horrendous picture quality--he didn't like my camera getting so close and started running away.
I live in S.Fla if it helps with identifying this fugger.

Don't know what it is, but what it should be is dead.

i think its a sheetweb spider. don't know what genus. harmless.
You have a better chance of winning the lottery, after getting hit by lightning during a shark attack than by being killed by a spider.
If you have a child or an elderly person living in the house, then fumigate.
If you're a healthy adult, be grateful that spiders are protecting you from zika-carrying mosquito's.
If I was planning on having a child- I'd raise black widows and orb weavers in my yard because the discomfort of a very rare bite is nothing compared to having a child with no brain.
But if you find a brown recluse, nuke the house.
Fuck those guys.
may be a woodlouse spider, but you know, cant see shit
