What does /an/ think of crate training?
>>2207719
Doesn't like it. Don't do it
>>2207719
I tried it a few times, but came to the conclusion that crates aren't very trainable
they are more like a cat, nice to look at, but otherwise good for nothing
crates are a lot less destructive and far less dangerous than cats if handled right
Only done it once but she took well to it, learned to potty and now sees the crate as her own doggy room.
>>2207729
crates like to live in packs with other crates, try training a pile of them is much easier imho
>>2207748
you just have to subdue the crate so show that you are the alpha-crate
>>2207781
It's a FAMILY
There's the dad crate and the mom crate, there's no alpha
>>2207787
But they're descended from pallet crates. IT'S IN THEIR GENETICS.
>>2207803
No it doesn't matter. That behavior was seen in CAPTIVE PALLETS. CAPTIVE. Wild pallet crates don't act like that.
how do you potty train your crates, /an/?
>>2207805
Okay, so we don't act like monkeys anymore?
I bet you're some liberal retard that thinks kicking your crate is "dominance" training.
>>2207814
It does. 100%. I've never seen someone who says to dominate their crate not hit it.
Crates need positive training.
>>2207816
I bet you have a mutt crate
>>2207817
I only have a mixed wood crate because I couldn't find a good pure Birch wood crate builder in my area, and didn't want to support BYBs.
>>2207810
You don't have to if they are outdoor only crates, like yours seem to be. Scumbag.
