Any snake owners out there, if I were to clean this tank out and fit it up properly, would it be a good enclosure for my 4 foot almost adult male ball python? He already has a 40 gallon long tank, but it's really hard to maintain a good humidity for him so I thought about moving him around. Soda can for scale, I think the tank is 35 gallons.

Shameless self bump
I only have a corn snake so I don't have much knowledge but from a general pet owner of many lizards and trantulas , I would just give it a try and see how it goes, are you willing to spend any money ?

not enough floor space, this tank is better for small, arboreal animals
so no, nothing for a ball python

Aren't ball pythons tropical though? I feel like they're suited for climbing and being on the ground

>tropical
>suited for climbing and being on the ground
what does tropical have to do with climbing?
serious question
If I look at my ball python climb, I want to help this idiot, because he is that clumsy. He falls down avery few minutes. So no, they are terrestrial snakes
Also, this doesn´t change anything about the fact that the floorspace of the terrarium you showed is far too tiny for an adult regius
Sorry

K then, guess I'll just have to spruce up the 40 gallon he has
