I was working on this color/pattern cross 20 years ago- then life changed and I got out of breeding, glad someone else did it atleast.
I've had ALOT of different species, this is the best (with kings being second cause you can feed them rattlesnakes)

Mine when they were juveniles. Kind of a shit pic but whatever.

why are monochromatic snakes so fucking spooky
I have no problem with snakes otherwise, but if they're entirely one color it makes me nervous just looking at it

I got a red tail boa too, I love her so much
Sorry for the trouble but you guys seem like the right ones for this request. I remember a show called Killing for a Living that used to be transmitted through discovery and animal planet. you guys know where I can find the footage of a Gaboon Viper attack displayed in that show? it was a clean direct hit on the side of a rat. any clues can help out. I already posted this on the Herp thread, just in case anyone can help in here too.

>I got a red tail boa too
I swear red tails are the best pet snakes out there. Every bit as tame and friendly as a ball python, but not as fucking boring. Get a BCI if you want something smaller, or a BCC if you have lots of space and want to impress your friends.
Super easy to take care of, very hardy, very beautiful. Perfect in every way.

Something about BCCs is fucking terrifying to me. I've been in rooms with 12 foot burms or rattlesnakes and taipans but the face of a BCC never fails to make me uneasy for some reason
