What Earth animals, past and present, would you splice together to create an organic 'army' of killing machines?
Obviously, multiple creatures will be necessary; different species would be specialized for different niches. The only limitation here is that you can't use human DNA; anything else is fair game.
Pic related; this is essentially the zerg combined with Impossible Creatures.

Titanoboa and wolly mammoth. A warm-blooded, cold resistant, tusked, fifty foot predator. Omnivorous, probably got some stubby legs.

AN APEX PREDATOR IS BORN
All climate survivable mosquitos and malaria.

Mosquito would definitely be a good part of a 'swarming' beastie, but it needs a bit more.
Japanese giant hornet for aggression and acidic venom;
Bullet ant for an ass-blastingly painful bite;
Killer bees for pure psychotic rage against all that live;
And trapjaw ant for blistering speed.

I would rather have a more team work oriented swarm.
fire ants They will chain themselves to make bridges and rafts.
Some funnel web spider for creepy webs and nasty poison.
(Both ant and spider) for bitchin underground colonies and tunnels.
Then maybe rat for the ability to chew through anything.
They would be able to tunnel into you house thru our foundation. And less than a dozen bites would kill you, but the colony has thousands. Breeding season like ants so they fly all over.
I want to splice myself with harambe

same
>bombardier beetle
>army ants
>centipede
>brown recluse
>ichneumon wasps
>no tardigrade survivability yet
Come on now. Your sin against God and nature will be invincible if you include some water bear genes.
Not to be a memer here, but literally any viable mutation attached to the genome of fire ants will result in massive losses to the ecosystem.
