Lets share stories and links to the many retarded Youtube Reptile enthusiasts and their poor husbandry. This guy know as "Jade Jones" keeps his monitors in an 8x4x6 cut in half which contains one black throat of 3 years and an argus of 8 months. His subtrate is that hamster shit, wood shavings or whatever and feeds them mostly bugs and ground turkey. I tried suggesting some changes but he chased me off. Here is the link https://youtu.be/nvdjUivybnE Picture is of my female Argus (maybe male, dunno yet).

there is a horrifying amount of live feeding of snakes and pacman/pyxie frogs on youtube. i'm not going to post any videos. they don't need extra views.
>turtles in stupid small tanks, no light or heat source sometimes no where to get out of water, fed only pellets from walmart or some shit
>heat rocks in pretty much any enclosure
>iguanas looking like they are on deaths door sometimes being fed shit like catfood and kept in fish tanks with no humidity retention
>kid with an alligator or caiman
>chameleons
Ive seen some crazy shit working at a pet store as far as stupid people are concerned but fucking youtube is a whole different level of fucked up

Jade Jones thinks I'm just a kid or a troll but I am actually concerned for the lizards.

What's wrong with chameleons?
>>2176262

Too fragile for that.
What was that channel where gf brings various animals home and the guy says "this is a wild animal" and explains why you shouldn't keep it?

For some reason this seems to be a popular trend among americans.
Mass keeping snakes in these little plastic tubs, bettas in bowls, sugar gliders in small cages, bearded dragons on newspaper, etc.
>>2176288
depending on what your definition of little plastic tub is it really isnt that bad.
I kept both my ball and carpet python in plastic tubs about 2x2.5x1.75 until they grew a bit and then moved them into larger enclosures I built

This. Alot of them are just fucking weirdos and edgelords who know nothing about their pets and think theyre so cool having a pet that kill, it makes me cringe. i have 3 snakes and i only fed 1 live mouse when 1 of them got sick and was picky during recovery

I'm in this infinite argument with this guy, I guess it's time to mute him or block his wet back ass.

His monitors don't seem to be acclimated to people all that well. I never owned monitors but I'm guessing you don't tease them with the food like he his? I know I wouldn't irritate them with shitty country rock like he does.
