What can be done depends on severity, proper immediate treatment, and how fast the dog has been taken to the vet. As long as it's mild and the eye was kept moist, the vets can generally pop it back into place. But the dog will also be more prone to a prolapse in the future.

Often the eye loses its ability to function, and they eventually end up getting it surgically removed. The good news is that dogs bounce back from amputations very quickly and easily, and generally are perfectly happy living with just one eye.

Purebred dogs are perfectly healthy. The myth that they are not is a forced meme by the """""rescue""""" industry to undermine breeders.

Pugs live long, happy lives, and are wonderful dogs.
