How can it be considered ethical to keep an animal that isnt injured via a method of restraint? Especially indoor only cats, dogs that are restricted to a backyard and walks, and especially reptiles within a hlass enclosure?
Well I like to think that my cat enjoys living here more than she would enjoy living outside in this (very bitterly cold) climate. In my home she gets food delivered, and lots of cuddles and love. Perhaps it isnt ethical; maybe it's better to allow them to exercise free will. But I think having a dog or cat that's treated well falls into the category of 'morally okay enough' or 'right enough' to be an okay thing to do.
How can it be ethical to release an animal that is not equipped to survive in the outside world into an environment filled with vicious wildlife, terrible diseases and dangerous machines that move at speeds over 60 mph?

Who said release? To take away its right to explore.
Inner city animal keeping is pure idiocy as you have to confine an animal to a house

People like you are the ones responsible for all the dead dogs and cats I see on the highway.
I fucking despise you.

Perhaps dont live near a highway then?

How about, 'Don't keep pets if you're an irresponsible asshole'?
