Need some help real quick.

I bought some sardines to give to my cats and they have all these tiny bones in them like in the picture. Is it okay if they eat that? They're really soft but it doesn't look very safe so I don't think I should feed them that. They already mixed with the meat so I can't take them out.

Come on m8, they'll be fine. Cats catch and eat whole fish all the time, if they get a chance.
>>
yes, it's fine

humans can eat those bones too
>>
Are you sure.
Google said it was bad to give them any kind of bones so I wasn't sure. And it really has a lot of them in it.
>>
>>2170128
my puppy eats them as a treat, they're fine
>>
cats in the wild don't really eat fish. sardine bones should be okay, but the itty bitty bones can get lodged in their throat or somewhere else down the line.

there is also an enzyme in raw fish that breaks down thiamine. bottom line: you shouldn't feed cats fish.

>Thiaminases are enzmyes found in a few plants and the raw flesh and viscera of certain fish and shellfish

>certain fish
not all fish.
>certain fish
goldfish and a couple others
not sardines. not salmon, not trout, not carp, not shark, not tuna.

come on dude at least spend a minute googling before you start spouting this shit off.
>>

did you even read the thing?
fuck, what an idiot.

it says exactly what I did.
>>
>>2170258
work on your reading comprehension.
>>
>>2170259
show me the part that says thiaminase is found in raw salmon, trout, carp, shark and tuna.

I'll be holding my breath while you try to struggle through the blog you posted.
