You would add suffixes or make slight modifications to the name. For example, dog becomes dogger, doggo, dag, deg, or if you want more scientific names: Canisif, Canusif etc. Other examples, like cat, become kitt, kot, kotter, felino, felina etc.

Seriously though. I work at an animal clinic and people name their animals after candy and sweets way to much. Just don't do that shit.

My best friend has an assortment of lizards. Here is how he named them;

Sometimes he calls them asshole lizards when they piss on each others' foods.
