In september I'll be moving to a house with a 2.5 acre yard, so I figured we might get a new dog, because we'll have more than enough room.
We already have a female labrador, and I was looking into some of the more elegant, bigger breeds. Does anyone here have experience with Dobermans or Kuvasz?

I have had dobermans. They have pretty sweet dispositions. A little neurotic sometimes. And clingy. Careful training required as they are quite intelligent and will disregard owner commands if they think they can get away with it.
Oh, also if you buy from a breeder, the ear croppping is not mandatory and you can request that it not be done for your doggo.

Can confirm. Oh, you're going to the kichen? I'm coming too. Office? Me too. Bathroom of course. He didn't like the sound of the shower running though. Dreaded bath time association. If i didn't want him resting his snout on my leg while I'm sitting on the toilet i just had to turn on the shower for a second and he'd wander off.
