True toads have their own family (Bufonidae)
Several Anura species have been called Toads.
Plus frogs do differ since a tree frog isn't similar to a common frog.

Frogs are more interesting, but toads are total bros. If you got a garden, throw like 3-4 toads in there and you'll never have to worry about bugs eating your shit ever again. Did that with my family since I was 8 and still bring some over if I catch any before I head home
