im in MN, havent done that yet, but the majority of the work is checking various breeding sites for larvae and hand treating or calling in the helicopters, we also do tick population monitoring, anti-black fly stuff and adulteration on request

When I lived in San Diego the county government had a program where they would give you mosquito-larvae-eating-fish for free for your pond. Neat program.
