What is the best animal and why is it the hyena?

Hyenas are the best animal because they are so fucking boss that even the chicks have dicks.

Hyenas are cool, especially spotted hyenas. When you think of predators, you usually think of wolves and big cats but these motherfuckers came from cat-like weasely motherfuckers. They are basically civets and mongoose that took a sharp canine turn .

Oh and they also seem pretty 'prehistoric' to me. The world at some point was pretty nuts with 'canine-like' and 'feline-like' animals and they still survived as big as they are along side modern wild canids, big cats and bears. That's pretty fuckin-neato.
