I got a puppy, and after a few walks, seems like she caught a few fleas.
I need to give her some sort of flea prevention, but I am unsure on what to use for a 4 month old puppy.
I used to use Frontline, large dogs on my old golden retriever, but I don't know what to use in a puppy.
Do I just use the same shit but for smaller dogs?
frontline is offered in different weight categories. get the kind for whatever your dog weighs.
Have you tried shaving the puppy and applying a thin laquer of wood varnish? An added bonus: Puppy fur, when spun, makes great yarn for mittens and pussy mufflers

Whatever you give him, don't use advantage/advantix products unless you want your dog to experience this.

He stopped EVER doing this when I stopped advantage. Has never done it again. Frontline is pretty much your only option, but for a 4 month old puppy, why not just rub diatomaceous earth all over him?
I would go easy on chemicals until at least 6mo.

It doesn't work like this. Those products are intended to be only used for certain age animals, the metabolism of a 10 pound puppy is not the same as the metabolism of a 10 pound adult dog.
there are age limits on the package.
