I work at a rehab place for raptors. She's on an infertile egg right by the door so as soon as I open it she attacks me. She's jumped up on me about five times now.

With talons she hasn't gotten me with her beak. She flies up I put my arm up ( no glove ) and shake her off. Honestly it didnt hurt at all, I'm more worried about hurting her it left tiny marks and I was just wearing a thin shirt.
I just hope she doesn't catch me in the head or that I accidentally hurt her.

My boss there was suppose to remove the egg. It would probably be better in the long run. I'm sure it's emotional for the bird just because of hormones but they get over it quickly.
The owl will attack anyone that tries to take the egg but with gloves you can just grab her so it's not a big deal.
