>>2042818
Thanks senpai, scared the shit out of me.
Do you also know what type of scorpion this is?
8-10cm or so
>>2042856
Pseudoscorpion
>>2042860
Nah, look closer, that thing's got a tail and a big fuckin beefy one at that. With the little claws and thick ass tail, I'd say it looks dangerous, but I don't know much about scorpions.
>>2042856
Androctonus bicolor, perhaps?
It would help to know your location.
>>2042816
Brown recluse
>>2042861
Oh fuck it does. Yeah stay away from that shit OP. Fat tail = bad news
>>2042816
you in Iraq OP? 90% of the time somebody is wanting an ID on a solfugid they are stationed in Iraq. don't believe all that shit bunkmate Tyrone said about them being super venomous they are pretty much harmless to people. that scorpion, on the other hand...
>>2043206
They're in the US too. Check your shoes in the morning desertfags :3
>>2043295
They don't really hide in shoes.
Where the fuck did the camel spider meme come from anyway? They don't even have venom to begin with.
>>2042856
Are u just picking shit off the floor? Cuz thats some scary shit, wherever u live lol
>>2043306
he was kidding. and i think it comes from 2 things:
1 soldiers gossip more than schoolgirls
2 those chelicerae just look like a pair of lethal weapons
>>2042934
Big black scorpion with a bit thick tail
>>2043336
Yeah but the can chew a hole in your body. Shit is scary.
>>2043369
No they can't, thats bullshit too.
They can bite pretty hard but if you want to avoid one don't chase one down and grab it and you're fine.
>>2042856
Brown Recluse.
>>2042856
Try touching it woth your dick to see what happens
>>2043489

better question, why do all arachnid owners on youtube sound like the lanky motherfucker who wrote The Office?
The original pic looks like a potato bug but they generally top out at 3cm or 15-30mm
>>2045856
we are glad to hear you made it
>>2047255
Besides the scorpion, shit was ok.
Kind of got a bit too close to an elephant on safari, but overal, was amazing.
>>2045856
Cool finds. The camel spider doesn't surprise me too much as those fuckers are everywhere it gets warm but the scorpion looks kinda like a fat tailed scorpion (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fattail_scorpion). I've seen them in Afghanistan but if it is one it's cool to know they go as far down as SA.
>>2042816
It is a Solifuget, also called a wind Scorpion.
>>2048596
Neither did I, it might that one, although his tail was quite hairy.
Got a bit too close for my taste (on our terrace walking towards our door), but no stings luckily.
>>2042816
That is a beautiful Solpugid!
Where do you live?
>>2050078
Have some more nightmare porn, South-Africa
Would anybody be interested in other pictures from South-African animals?
