My buddy Chico. We saved him from the pound a day before he was supposed to ne euthanized.
He likes to be tall
Ruca. She'll be seven on thanksgiving.
Taz, I've had him since i was 11. He's getting on in years.
this is Tavish with just the tiniest bit of scenery behind him
Just celebrated her third birthday, can't believe how quickly the time is flying by.
Pic is her with her birthday meal.
Here's my pug snork. I call it snork because that's the only sound it makes.
This is Nino. He's about to be 3 years old this December. There are times he looks like an overgrown rat but I still love him.
I need to get some better pictures of her, but she's a hard one to catch good poses of.
Her names Ahura, or Boo for short. She's going to be getting a friend soon, hopefully within the next 6 months if all goes well.
Suka (Inuit not Slavic), she has been trained to respond vocally with roos when you talk to her. She was trained to do handshakes but abuses the ability to punch and hug. Tends to grab people with a tight grip and her paws are actually pretty hard to pry off.
Loves wet towels and paper.
Yeah, you can even see her trying to handshake in the picture after being caught ripping up a pillow. Ears back, squinting, and handshake are a clear sign that she's guilty of something.
>work at shelter
>deaf dog and her brother come in as strays
>both super sweet and wiggly and cuddly
>we're adopting them out as a bonded pair
>want to adopt them
>tfw already have three at home
the feels kill me
This is my baby, peanut. Rescued him at a year old when I was 11, I'm 19 now and I've never loved an animal so much in my entire life. He gave me a reason to live so many times I couldn't think of anything else.
Another of peanut, he's about 20 pounds so he's perfect for cuddles
>tfw her and her brother went up for adoption today
>coworker sends me their promo photos
the cute has killed me
Jack Daniels, my Jack Russell/Pocket Beagle mix.
And my Catahoula puppy, Jill. She's dumb as a box of rocks but she's sweet. Also my cat Rommel behind her.
This is Sandor. He was my dog until last Wednesday when he was killed by a truck. He was the best dog I ever had
Punchy. We all know he's the best one here.
My new puppers, Moose.
His mother is a registered Border Collie and his father is an unholy marriage of Airedale Terrier and Blackmouth Cur. Which is precisely as ugly as you think it is.
Anyway, Moose came out cute as a button and smart as hell.
He saved a couple of the neighbor kids from getting bitten by a copperhead by picking it up and throwing it. He got bitten in the process.
If there is justice in this universe, he is trailing rabbits through Valhalla as we speak.
a few months ago. He's A LOT bigger now since Aussies grow up fast, but he's a quick learner too so it balances out.
Just made this.
Any of your dogs doing the same?
This was my babe, Harry.
Looking to get a new dog soon, but I'll never forget the almost 17 great years I had with him.
Rascal and Paulie Girl. Rascal is a 2 year old border collie mix, and Paulie is a 10 year old one eyed pug/terrier mix.
Going to meet this pup today. 9 month old Pitbull/basset hound mix
Anybody have any advice on how to walk these two together? Rascal always tries to play with Paulie and it's nearly impossible to get further than a block with both of them. It's unfair because I've been walking Rascal more than Paulie due to his hyperness, and I feel bad for Paulie.
Your dog's need leash trained. Basically when they are properly trained they will know once they are on the leash they should walk on a certain side of you, not lead, sit when you stop, obey basic commands, etc
My ten year old daughter belongs to a dog club through 4-h. One of the things they do is obedience training such as teaching your dog (and you) how to walk your dog on a lead. It's not difficult.
our two dogs, the light brown one is a jack russel and pug mix and is called drop, he is three years old. the other one is a german shepard and dachsund mix he is ten months old and called tiger.
Here is my gorgeous aussie bitch Mila, and her catfriend Sita. Unfortunately Sita passed away recently and Mila has been depressed :(
