Here's the thing, there is none (or if there is, it's very minimal). Escorts is just the classier term for a hooker. Maybe escorts give you a "girlfriend experience" but in the end, you're paying both to literally fuck them.

The social implications of having sex with an escort is that you are unable to secure uncoerced consensual sex from a woman, so it is shameful.

However, I personally reject this notion. I see nothing wrong with employing an escort. Nothing. My view of them is that they are nothing but offerers of a professional service. If you want to fix your kitchen sink, you can rely on a handyman friend who may be able to do the job, or you can pay money and employ a professional who can complete the job to a set of high standards.
Or, you can enjoy home cooked meals, but sometimes you want to have some professional, restaurant-cooked food, so you go to a restaurant.

So it is with escorts. They are professionals, more or less guaranteed to by high quality (appearance and performance depending on prestige/price). They have a commercial and legislative onus on being sexually free of diseases (though this is not 100% guaranteed). Further, the modern woman (and man, really) fucks a lot of people. How is this functionally different from prostitutes?

All of this said, I'm in New Zealand, which has exceptionally good prostitution laws. It's not a crime here, and there is a good industry that sex-workers are reported to highly appreciate.


Now, for me personally, I wouldn't go to an escort for the first time. For me, losing virginity is a right of passage for our society. I'm a virgin at 24, and so far I refuse to lose the v to an escort, though this is very tempting. I now i'd be a lot more confident if I can just lose it and/or practice with a professional a couple times. But I'm playing on hardmode, for now.

My 2c. Overall, do what you want. It's not as bad as people say (assuming its legal in your country, and assuming you go for a premium/high class service). I've had erotic massages before, and really, they're just normal girls/women. No real difference.
