Is health/dental insurance worth it?
I have an estimated bill of $1684 to have my wisdom teeth removed. I have well over $14,000 in saving from working full time as a security guard and living at home, and am considering just paying for this, as well as other things like a very late physical and eye glasses appointment, out of pocket. I barely had good money before this job since employment was always spotty. Before 16 months ago, I was averaging $200-2000 in my bank account with long stints of unemployment between wage slave shit, so I'm a bit behind the curb.
I am 26, and my mother, (I live with my dad three hours down south) lost the insurance she could spare me after she quit her toxic job and became a homemaker full time while her husband works, so it doesn't even matter on that front. Even then, it was Blue Cross Blue Shield, which didn't even work half the time, either only cutting my bill somewhat or claiming they can do an appointment for free, and then go "whoopsie daisy! Turns out we don't cover that, LOL!"
Also, yes, my job DOES offer insurance, but it's around $1800-2200 a year, and the deadline was February, so it's too late on that account.
So, is health and dental worth it? If so, what company is best?
No. Doctors deserve to be shot and killed. They jew their patients for simple treatments and treat you like shit.

If your employer doesn't offer you health care you have to go through healthcare.gov.
There's 2 sides to this. You will be charged more than you insurance will be for the same treatment unless you negotiate it down and pay cash. But technically it's cheaper to not have insurance. If anything really bad happens to you though you'll be fucked just sayin. $14000 wont cover serious shit.
Wow thats fucking retarded OP. get on state insurance and get your teeth out for free numbnuts.
