I have a friend and she's a bit naive. Very kind, but unfortunately not very bright and think her bf is taking advantage of it. Hey, im a male and are having some doubts about my girlfriends condition. She was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer and is getting chemo treatment. I have never had the opportunity to go to the hospital with her and see her get chemo, and never seen her use medications even tho she lived with me 5 days of the week, the rest were at her parents house. She smokes and started smoking even more, and her parents dont object to it all. It seems like she doesnt give a fuck about it and doesnt do anything to help herself get better.

She was diagnosed 5 months ago, and this was around the time when i started to get my feelings fade away for her, and she was up alot at nights crying telling me im the one and she doesnt wanna lose me. I didnt either but felt a bit suffocated at times. Now i found a new love for her and all seems fine.

Whats interesting is that after she started her treatment she doesnt get any side symptoms. She doesnt vomit, lose hair or weight, shes still full of energy, shes the same girl she always was. My mom, who is a medical proffesional and has been a nurse for over 20 years and taken care of cancer patients before is sceptical. She tells me that my gf is using me, is a psychopath and fakes cancer to keep me around. I dunno, its weird and i cant believe her. I was her first sexual partner and weve been together for over 2 years, if that means anything.

I'm willing to accept that she's just naive about guys and phone numbers, but in the likely scenario where I confirm she's not single, it's better to come absolutely clean about it for both our sakes.
