I broke a mercury thermometer, I think a little bit might have landed on my feed. I immediately washed that and immediately opened the window in the room, after that my dad cleaned the broken thermometer with toilet paper and water. So what else should we do? How dangerous that is? Can we get mercury poisoning?
Don't worry, if it was a bit it isn't really dangerous, but if you start to feel sick, go to the hospital

You'll be fine, OP. You should have played around with it some more, maybe find some aluminum and put the mercury on it.
OP here how much time should i ventilate the room so it's safe? Are there long term consequences
You should pick up every spec and do not fucking throw it out in the garbage ffs

Elemental mercury is not very dangerous. You can touch it, unlike dimethylmercury. Corral the beads and pick them up with the edge of a piece of paper. Discard in a sealed plastic container.
