As cliched as it may sound, the best advice really is to "just bee urself." You might be able to put up a facade for a little, but the real you will come out eventually, and your relationship, founded in a lie, will crumble.
Just ask her out if you think she's comfortable enough around you, and see if your personalities fit. Nothing else you can do. Dating as a guy sucks.

because by thinking this you question your abilities. When you do that you wont come of as confident. Confident people dont doubt if there better then the "other guys". They know they are, even if its not true. The thoughts you harbor in your head show through your actions, emotions and the things you say to people. This is the mindset i'd be in. Id be curious about her.Find out everything i can to see what she likes to do and match those up with my interests. Stay light hearted and fun. Keep a positive attitude. Dont assume anything and take things at face value. If i'm not feeling confident. Tell myself a whole bunch of stuff the boosts my confidence this differs for everyone. I could go on. It gets easier when you have a healthy inner dialogue going on.
