I just can't. In highschool I did nothing and studied for every subject on a rush. Now that I'm in college I just can't study. I arrive to my house, I sit my ass in front of my screen and leisure ensues. How do you people do?

then you are forcing yourself to college and even worse: for a subject you dont like
yes, this is me

I'm not forcing myself, my parents will kick me out of the house if I don't study. I'm already 20 yo so there's no excuse. The career that I chose was History but to be honest no career really interests me.
Honestly I wish I could tell you there was a easy answer.
>pro tip there isn't.
but what I've done every time is force myself to do it.
There's no other way luckily for me All my friends boyfriend aside left after high school so the distractions as far as friends goes are 0.
Best advice I could give you is imagine a goal. imagine where you want to be in 10 years. No matter how minimal your goal is remind yourself that Whatever that goal is you're not going to get there without getting through this, Unfortunately.
For me all I personally want is a house as far away from my parents for me and my boyfriend to live in, and a 1987 Porsche 944 turbo, shit box edition good luck hope this helped

Yep thats definetly me (although I am studying Physics instead of History). I just can't find anything interesting in what I am studying and am already almost halfway through it. It had been bearable to push things forcefuly until now, but this semester I am literally having panic attacks every time I am forced to do actual academic work
You either do it or you don't. Some people aren't cut out for college.

OP here, I get some quality anxiety when I remember that if I don't study I'll be a hobo. At least I know that there are others that know this feel.
