There are criteria. I would say generally strong bone structure, jawline obviously, high cheekbones, symmetrical features, healthy skin, good hair and pronounced eyes make an attractive human.
Pluspoints for dimorphic features such as browridge, chin, nose - all of those are supposed to be bigger than the womans, at least.
Body - not necessarily muscular, but obviously there must some definition from everyday activities.
Being healthy would be the ultimate criteria in my eyes.

I think the eyes and hair play the biggest role. Personally, I prefer messy hair and "pretty" eyes (like David Giuntoli, pictured). Nose and chin aren't that big of deal to me as long as the face isn't shaped like a circle.

You're probably asking this question because you arent sure how attractive you are, if at all. Don't bother. If you have to ask, then you're not a 8/10+. Most of us arent, myself 100% included. Most of us dont have perfect proportions or symmetry. This question becomes even harder to answer if you aren't white. I'm 60% native american and it shows heavily on my facial features. In my experience, women either really like it or really dont. I've been with some really pretty 8/10+ girls, and shot down by some less than desirable 5/10 or lower girls I was pursuing purely for their personality.
