Anyone have an anxiety disorder, or get panic attacks, or just feel like everything is scary? How do you deal with it? What should I be doing to combat it? I've started listening to CBT audios and found them pretty helpful so far.

[For college] I just imagine the people that I am not afraid to be myself in front of is with/watching me. It may sound fucking ridiculous, but it personally works for me. Srry if this isnt helpful, but it's great that you discovered something that is currently helping.

Ask people questions. It will sometimes come across as annoying, just accept that fact, but for most situations, putting the onus of conversation on someone else is a good way stop worrying about your own awkwardness and to mutually warm up to one another.
Accept that you're probably awkward. Give someone else the mic.

Buddhism. Anxiety is all about attachment. You're attached to your vision of how you want things to be. Let go of that attachment and accept you don't have control over the future.
