I've been trying to learn to draw for a few months, but when I sit down I just give up after 2-3 hours and go back to playing vidya all day.
I don't have ADHD or some attention-deficit disorder. I just don't know how to focus or have discipline to work on a long-term, time-consuming goal

2 to 3 hour bursts are actually pretty long duration. Maybe stick to a regular schedule of 1 to 2 hours per day, you'll be less likely to burn out.
Why don't you join the fuckin Marines?

Seriously? That's all there is to it? Just cut back on the time? I shoulda thought of that a long time ago.

I was disallowed back when I was 18 because of my severe scoleosis. Apparently the military doesn't like hunchbacks (I got surgery since, tho)

Just stick with it and challenge yourself. Depending on what you draw, find images to copy every week. If you're doing humans, browse Instagram after learning how to draw the base/skeleton.
Soon enough you can look back and see how much you've improved. The things you thought were impossible in the past are more achieveable after time.
