I'm at a "safe" area, away from floods and all that nonsense, the problem is i'm surrounded by big giant fat trees. You guys think i should worry about them falling on me or am i okay? I also have the option to crash at my brothers apartment which happens to be at a "surge zone" but it's on the second floor.
So my options are, second floor of an apartment building in an area where the first floor folk might drown or a tiny house surrounded by big ol trees, but away from water dangers. what should i do?
Idk how large those trees are, but as long as they aren't pine I feel like you'll be okay. I'm in Jacksonville and the only trees I saw that fell were pines.
Depends how sturdy they are and how many branches it has, something with lots of branches tend to leave a lot of debris
Remember that in Florida the trees don't really have deep roots
If I die, at least the spaghetti responsible for my death will suffer, at least until she finds another dick to suck and convinces herself it was her real destiny
TWICE you cunt, TWICE

The higher up you get, the faster the wind-speed will be. You'll be more protected lower to the ground, and the trees will act as a bit of a wind-break too. If you've got oaks and palms, they topple more easily, but oaks cling a bit, so they lean over more than falling flat, and palms will get ripped out and tossed around like rag-dolls. Find a school or another shelter that's concrete, out of a flood-zone, and low-to-the-ground. Hunker down and ride it out, there's no getting out now. Too much traffic to beat the storm out.

not near any shelters, i guess i'm gonna have to die. We all gotta go someday i guess.
