I have serious feelings for my business partner. He told me he has similar feelings, but wants to have a strictly business relationship. I respect this in theory, but I think it will breed resentment and jealousy between us.

He also is not comfortable with being in a gay relationship, but prefers men to women sexually.

Am I wrong for continuing to pursue a relationship while we work together?
