I'm an esoteric Christian, and I think that your model for salvation is probably a waste of time anyway... if all you think about Christianity is living "pure" and getting rewarded in some afterlife, then there is no essential spiritual difference your Christianity and Islam.

If you want some guidelines on spirituality from the Bible, from someone who has studied the spiritual aspects of the doctrine, you can leave a discord or something and I'll add you, and we can discuss it, if you'd like.

I can give you a good reading list, as to what scripture is important to consider, at the very least.

I know a couple people that where raised Christian right up until they actually read the bible at which point they renounced their faith. I myself do not follow any religion but I am a spiritual person who believes in a higher power. I believe that I will be judged for my actions and given a deserving fate but I do not believe that any god who forces you to worship them or be punished can be a true god.

If you are a good person you go to where the good people go. If you are a bad person you go to where the bad people go. Doesn't matter if you pick the correct faith so long as you are good.

You can be saved and not be a Christian, but you cannot be a Christian and not be saved. "Christian" means 'follower of Christ', including his fundamental teaching instructing on how, and to, be saved.

There is no such thing as too late to be saved.

God has revealed himself to people directly on occasion throughout history, without the Bible. It is not strictly necessary to have read the Bible know God, but in 99.9999999% of cases, it is the single best option/avenue there is. It's there for a reason; you should read it - but don't think that the fact that you haven't done so so far has any bearing on your ability to be saved.

Given how much gravity Christian culture can subconsciously place on sexual sin, I can understand how this may feel like an unsurmountable road block to salvation. I have been there myself. But understand: Porn is just another drug, and addiction to porn is just another drug addiction. Christendom is full of stories of proper, completely hooked drug addicts coming to Christ and turning their lives around. If they can do it, you can too.

Individual sins or sinful behaviors (except one) does not affect your salvation. The movement towards holiness is a progressive thing throughout your life, and it is a struggle. If failures precluded your ability to be saved, no one would be saved. Not a single one. Simon Peter in the Bible failed by straight up denying knowing Jesus multiple times. It was wrong, but he is still regarded an Apostle.
This is not to say that sin does not have its consequences. The truth is that there is more to eternal life than just getting into Heaven. The fact is, Heaven is different for everyone - the quality of life and your position there depends entirely on how you do in this life.

Imagine that you're in a small town that's going to get bombed and the army is evacuating people on trucks. One such truck comes to you and people are yelling at you to get in. You happen to not care about your life, but feel like getting into the truck because your girlfriend is at the evacuation centre. Well, in the grand scheme of things, do you think it matters why you got onto the truck? Or that what matters is the fact that you did get into the truck.

Wanting a relationship with Jesus is certainly better than the motivation of wanting to save your skin, but, saving your skin is not an invalid motivation so much as to prevent you from being saved. Regardless, I have a feeling that once you get on the journey, you will come to appreciate a relationship with Jesus for what it's worth on it's own. But that's not a given - that's entirely up to you and how your life plays out.

OP you should consider maximizing your time better, some nice lifehacks are, go to the gym and listen to eBooks about success or finance, when you get bored of that, learn about history or at least listen to a classic novel.

Listen to a lot of self-empowerment messages and get confidence.

Try experimenting with some form of get rich quick shit like penny stocks or Bitcoin, preferrably Bitcoin. Money and risktaking is attractive to ladies.

You could try learning another language during repetitive lifts.

The fact that you have that thought and fear is a good thing and it goes to your favour. Pray, fast, do as much as you can and never lose faith. You can't save yourself, but God can save you.
