Whenever I remember something embarrassing that happened to me or that I did, I cringe.
Problem is, I literally cringe and I have to get it out of my system physically. Like, shrug it off or clear my throat or whatever. Anybody else experiences this? Anything I can do about it?
I used to have those. Maybe I still do but very fewer.
Realize you needed to go through it to learn. The things you did helped you to become what you are now. Would you rather be done with it or still have it coming in the future and be oblivious about similar stupid things you would be doing if you had not gone through with it?
Also past is gone. There's no way we can interact with it. No experiment we could make. And we have very limited ways to even observe it. And even fewer people have access to the memory of your embarrassing moment. Don't let it affect your life so much.
