Hello, I am currently fighting with my best friend and currently it seems it will go on until I apologize.
The thing we are fighting about is that I have different groups of friends, about 4, and I don't like to mix them. Its as simple as that. She belongs to one of them and has friends in another group. I have said to her previously that I become uncomfortable if I hang out with both of them simultaniously. She is mad at me for keeping them apart, which according to me I am not doing, since I am just refraining from hanging out with both of them at the same time, If they want to hang out I won't stop them and I don't think its wrong. I just ask her to not expect me to be there as well.
Am I at fault here?
your friend is just being stupid

Thanks for replying. Other opinions are also welcomed. Im just trying to see the best course of action.

It sounds like your friend wants you to organize some kind of hangout that is ideal for her. Just tell her if that's what SHE really wants she should do it herself. It's not your job.
Don't let her use you.

Thanks for your opinion. I have specifically said to her if she wants to hang out with them she can do so, just that she shouldn't expect me to join them.

Fault for what? Disagreeing? Yes it's as much your choice to keep it going but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to disagree.

"Best" how? So you can have your way? So most people will be happy?
Whatever you choose to do it will be ok. There isn't a "right way" and "wrong way" here. It's just a matter of taste.
But consider her style too. Why is it that you don't like to mix your groups?
