Someone was caught sleeping on the job yesterday. One of the managers caught this person in the department's office.
Now my department's supervisor is getting on the group as a whole and saying the next step is Performance Management will step in.
I'm curious as to how this could effect me. I tend to do my job and carry about my business, not bothering anyone.
Far as my surprervisor is concerned I do my job well.
How does this all work though if Performance Management steps in?

If you dont break the rules then it doesnt matter at all. Things will get more strict and you should expect someone to get fired no matter how small of an issue they find.

That depends on your company. You dont have to worry about getting fired if you are legit. If you have poor performance then this would be the time to step it up because they could come in and clean house by firing a lot of people.
