Same, I'm 19 and I feel like I reached adulthood just in time to watch society collapse under my feet. I spent most of my summer isolated in my room reading about how western civilization is falling apart and that there's basically nothing I can do about it. Didn't see any friends and barely even went outside. 25-anon here, I went through the exact same shit (minus the having money part) when I was that age. It's up to you to figure yourself out. I'd consider myself largely happy now, and I can tell you this: Part of it was removing toxic elements from my life (unrealistic aspirations, social media, libfag friends), part was literal exploration (quit a good job to go travel for a whole year, returned broke and exhausted but spiritually fulfilled), and the other part was reconnecting with family. Family is everything, even if it's broken and dysfunctional.

You're normal, anon. Your brain changes organically, don't expect to be able to figure it out like it's a math equation. Patience is your best friend.
