Hey guys. So I am a sophomore in high school and I am a pretty average student, mainly B's usually a C or two (science/math). But my goal is to get to CSU for college and it's something I've been wanting for a long time. But I have a growing concern that me being accepted might be a little more distant then anticipated. I recently read that majority of accepted applicants had an average grade of a B+ or higher and that any grades below that were a stretch. That really worries me. Anybody have any idea how true this is and therefore could maybe help? Thank you for reading this.
Honestly, if you're struggling to get a B+ in high school where they spoonfeed you what you need to know, you're not going to do that well in college where you have to take responsibility for your learning

Colorado State University has an acceptance rate of 81%. You already have pretty good odds of getting in, even better if your test scores are good.
Simplest answer: call the admissions department and ask them.
If you couldn't figure that out, are you sure college is for you?

A B average might get you into your state's first-string university (The University of [state]) and would probably get you into the second-string one ([state] State U) A B- average might get you into the second string and probably would get you into the third-tier (Northern [stste] U or Univ of [state] at [city])
A good couple of semesters at any tier should let you transfer up a tier. |Or you could go first to a CC, so well, and then transfer to a tier above what you might otherwise go for
